Steve Simpson Investments has been developing residential and commercial land since 1987. In the past 18 years, SSI has developed over 21 communities including Senators Ridge, Cedarcrest Town Club, Georgian Park and Highland Falls in Paulding County. Commercially across the Southeast, SSI has developed 14 hotels, three office parks and two retail centers including Highland Pavilion Retail Center, Bainbridge Office Park, and Crestwood Suites Hotels. The SSI Team, located in Hiram, GA, is led by President and Chief Operations Officer Steve Simpson.

For over 26 years, Steve Simpson has been involved in the development and building of commercial and residential real estate. Before starting SSI, Steve obtained his first development experience in Ohio and moved to Atlanta in 1984 to build a 120,000 square foot office building. In 1987, Steve began his first real estate development project and since has developed over 2,500 residential lots and over 300,000 square feet of commercial property. Steve has served as Chairman of the Paulding County Chamber of Commerce, President of the Paulding County Builders Association, was a National and State Director for the Home Builders Association of Georgia, and serves on the Advisory Board for Colonial Bank. In his spare time, Steve enjoys flying, hunting in Colorado and spending time with his wife Mary and their three children.

Chris Easterwood, Development Manager, oversees the day to day operations of SSI. Chris has been in the development business for 11 years and has been an integral part of over 35 residential and commercial developments. Before joining the SSI team, Chris was part of the leadership team with publicly traded company KB Home and Development Manager for Morrison Homes. Chris enjoys coaching soccer for West Metro and playing tennis. He lives in Paulding County with his wife Lisa and daughters Madison and Hannah.

Simon Cruz is the aesthetic man for SSI, managing all of the landscaping, stone and brick work as well as erosion control. Simon has been in the landscaping business his entire life and has been part of the SSI team for 11 years. Currently, Simon is the foreman on the re-design of Plantation Golf Club in Cartersville, and the amenity area at the Parks at Cedarcrest subdivision. Simon has lived in the Metro Area for 22 years and resides in Cartersville with his wife and four children.
