To visit Carter Grove Plantation:
From Atlanta: Take Interstate 75 north to exit 285 Red Top Mountain Road. At top of exit ramp, turn left onto Red Top Mountain Road, Proceed 2.4 miles; continue onto Old Alabama Road for another 3.1 miles. Carter Grove Plantation is on the left at the intersection of Old Alabama Road and Doughit Ferry.

From Marietta/Hwy 41: Travel Hwy 41 N to Red Top Mountain Road SE Junction towards Emerson and Cartersville, (Red Top Mountain SE junction is 5.8 miles north of Cedarcrest Road on Hwy 41). Take a right onto Red Top Mountain Rd SE, proceed 0.2 mile, take the 1st right to stay on Red Top Mountain Rd SE, travel 2.1 miles, continue onto Old AlabamaRoad for another 3.1 miles. Carter Grove Plantation is on the left at the intersection of Old Alabama Road and Doughit Ferry.
